Visitor

Hailee, my bestie from home, came to visit me over her spring break this week! We had a lot of fun, and I got to show her the 'real' college life, since she's never lived with roommates before. We went hot tubing, walked to Soda Vine to get drinks, hiked 'R' Mountain, went out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse (delicious), and we made a big Sunday dinner after church of chicken enchiladas for all my roommates. We had a lot of fun together and I was happy to see her!

Modern Technology

Isn't it so cool we can keep in touch with our loved ones through technology? My old roomates, from my first year in college, and I had a FIVE-way Skype chat the other day. Tuning in from Mexico, Hawaii, Idaho, and two different cities in AZ! It was super cool to get to be "together" again. My youngest brother was baptised today, and since i'm going to school out of state, I wasn't able to make it home for it! But I got to chat with him a little on skype before the party! Cody skypes me every day and listens to me talk or cry about my stressful life! We do homework together when we are too busy to just sit and have random conversations. Also last but not least, my bff Hailee and I Skype every once in a while to update each other with boy talk. We've been besties since we were little kids and I'm so grateful for her! She keeps me sane. I love my friends! XOXO

Go-To Breakfast

My FAVORITE breakfast food that I've learned to make this year is my fancy egg sandwich. I always thought eggs sunny side up were nasty and slimy, until I put one on this sandwich. It's a toasted English muffin with the egg, cheese, green chilies, and a tomato slice. I have also discovered I'm addicted to tomatoes. Life is good. But green chilies are better.

College Pt. 2

REXBURG! This AZ girl is adjusting quite well to the FREEZING cold if I do say so myself. This is my first semester starting my bachelors degree in computer science at Brigham Young University-Idaho. My classes are hard and take a lot of time. I walk everywhere and am making some new friends! My room-mates are all super sweet girls and I'm excited to live in Idaho for the next two semesters!
